What is Programming language?

Pretty but not so complex explanation!

A programming language is a set of instructions that a computer can understand and execute. It is a way for humans to communicate with computers and tell them what to do.

Think of it like a foreign language, just as there are different languages such as English, Spanish, and French that people use to communicate with each other, there are also different programming languages that are used to communicate with computers. Some examples of programming languages include Java, Python, C++, and JavaScript.

Each programming language has its own set of rules and syntax, similar to how each human language has its own grammar and vocabulary. These rules dictate how a programmer can write instructions for a computer to follow.

Programming languages are used to create all kinds of software, from simple programs that perform basic calculations to complex systems that run websites, mobile apps, and even self-driving cars.

In summary, programming languages are a way for humans to communicate with computers and tell them what to do. It is a tool that allows developers to create software and automate tasks.

Not so a complex introduction!

Programming is like giving instructions to a computer so it can do something. Just like how you tell your parents or teacher what you want to do or what you want to make, you can tell a computer what you want it to do by using special words and symbols.

For example, you can tell the computer to make a game for you to play, or to show you a picture of your favorite animal. The computer will follow your instructions and do what you told it to.

Programming languages are like different languages that people speak. Just like how there are different languages like English, Spanish, and French, there are also different programming languages like Java, Python, and Scratch. Each one has its own way of speaking, but they can all be used to talk to the computer and give it instructions.

So, programming is a way of talking to computers, giving them instructions and making them do things. It's fun and cool way to make computers work for you!
